    Jones opening up about Webber a bit here suggesting he would push Webber to Ferrari. I'm wondering how Webber would fair for the team in red vs the almighty Alonso as teammate. Webber has proven when his car is right, he is quicker than Vettel. Also, it seems Webber can drive in a wider variety of setups than Vettel who seems to require a very sticky rear end to really be quick. I believe Webber would give Alonso a real run, but all that being said I very much doubt this would happen anyway. Perez seems to be a more obvious choice for a Massa replacement, but seeing Webber vs Alonso would be classic.

    I would love to see Webber at Ferrari. Would be great to have him there for a couple years while Perez matures a bit.

    Saw that this mornng, then I'm reading that Vettel can sign with Ferrari in 2014? Fred signed until 2016? Young driver program? I'm thinking that these young drivers are currently in third grade by the time a seat opens up...

    Ferrari do need a strong driver to bring home points however...this is why its called the "silly season" although as the article said it is starting earlier than usual.

    If he goes to earn some cash fair enough.

    Team orders, I'am not a fan.

    I think that's a little overstated. He actually said;

    However, he closes with;

    Err, Alan, you think Scuderia Alonso is gonna be a pushover? ;)

    +1 on the cash front - Ferrari (their sponsors anyway) aren't afraid to pay.

    As for team orders, both Rubens and Phil have always been adamant that there was never anything along those lines in their contracts. Just that they were both up against the very best of their era and it worked out that way.

    Cheers,
    Ian
