Well, a second is also the difference between first and tenth no - typically? : ) It's interesting because the F2004 was supposedly around 900HP? Wonder what that makes the current Merc - 800+? Would also be interesting to see a comparison of the downforce and tire tech. I don't know one way or another, but to say F1 would destroy the Indycar, I just don't see it on paper at least. They seem fairly close - both around 1500lbs and around 700-800HP. Like I said though, lots of variables : )
