    I have pictures of one off Alfas he had, one with a split window like the '63 Corvette,
    maybe built on a Disco Volante chassis

    I would have thought he would have ordered a Ferrari since he was so tuned in to Italian cars in the early '50s

    Would you share the pictures of the Alfa?
    It´s a 3000Cm which started life as a berlinetta Colli, then rebodied by Boano.

    The Ferrari you mention is 0191EL.

    There's a 166MM that was supposedly built for Eva Peron... but that was just a ruse to get around officially importing the car into Argentina to race it...

    There is no proof that this car was ever related to Evita but anything could be possible.

    BTW, Evita did not drive, nor have a driving license.
