Ok, who's around on July 3rd? (the Saturday of July 4th weekend). A la our soon-to-be-regular fchat Club Nights, I've been invited to "sponsor" (i.e. bring cars to) a bumpin' house party out in the Hamptons that, in addition to being fun and having gaggles of 25 - 35 year old women, will be raising money for a charity (St. Jude Children's Research Hospital). The idea is, as ususal, that having gorgeous cars outside brings up the profile of the whole event, and therefore makes attendees more likely to donate more money to the charity. Also it's fun to show off a bit. The deal: -- 6pm - 10pm at the house, and VIP treatment and parking for us at a club afterwards -- Security at both the house and the club to watch over the cars the whole time. -- Lots of fun for everyone There's parking for 8 - 10 of our best examples at the house, so let me know who's around. Perhaps we can even do a little R.A.L.I. (Run Around Long Island -- RALI! Ha...I made a funny...) beforehand. nlh
sounds like a plan to me... i am not sure what my plans are for that weekend but count me in as of now. would we be staying in the Hamptons overnite too? i think it would be a good idea.
