Right now the page has very limited info but it takes place on June 18th in Hartford, CT. It takes place at the capital building overlooking the Bushnell. I usually get there very early in the morning but people usually start getting there around 9:30-10:00am and everyone is usually gone around 4:00-5:00pm. Last year there were about 125 Ferraris so this is an event you don't want to miss. you dont necesasarily have to use the value service. THere is a free parking garage if you feel comfortable using it. Imi sure if we called in advance, maybe they could set aside a section of the garage to ourselves.
Roscoe: We will be parking on the hotel valet side. you can tip $15-20 and request that the car be a "Short Car" and they will leave it up front.
I frequent the Mohegan Sun once a month when I play the Wolf Den with my band. I do not think on a weekend anyone will be able to leave their car in front by the valet area. Weekends are to busy. When we unload they valet us and I can tell you they do not like cars hanging around there. And this is mid week . Plenty of free parking, but would you feel comfortable leaving you car there ?? I suggest you do a bit more research on this before you have people bring their cars expecting that they will be looked after by the valet parking attendants.
I visit Foxwoods and Mohegan weekly and park my 360 Spider or the Maser safely. Here is the Key at Mohegan go to Hotel Valet and Say you want "Up front Parking" give them a $20. and you car will be left safely in front of the hotel. no body will touch it. It is as safe as it is at home. The fella that shows up with his band mates in a truck or maybe less desireable car they wont allow it. If you happen to go over to Foxwoods the key word there is "Pink Parking" same attention will be giving to your car there. Good luck

My point is if 10 Ferrari's show up can someone guarantee that all will be able to park in front ?? I do not think so . It is best to plan these types of events out so that safe parking is guaranteed by The Mohegan .
Whenever I visit Mohegan Sun, I always valet my car (the SUV, not the Ferrari) at the hotel entrance valet. One night while I was waiting for my truck to be pulled around, the subject of exotic cars came up in a conversation with the parking attendant there (I didn't start it, and I didn't let on that I owned an F-Car... I was with friends at the time and it just seemed weird to bring that fact up to the parking girl right at that moment). Anyway.... the parking attendant told me that they routinely leave exotics right up front (I'm sure an extra tip is appreciated), and that they even LIKE to have them there because it looks good for them. So I haven't personally tested this, but that's what I was told by someone who works there, for whatever that's worth. Surely how much they like them there varies depending on how busy they are and how many exotics there are, and your mileage may vary based on who's working on any particular night.
I usually go to Mohegan at least once a month if not more then that. The safest way is to valet the car on the hotel side. if you tip the valet person $20. they will mark your tick "short" or "short car" and will be park up front. i was just there this Saturday around 11am and it was not that busy. night time it's a different story. Musicman: i highly doubt that 10 ferrari's will show up this event. plus even there are 10 ferrari's i'm sure that arrangements can be made by mohegan to keep them safe. i would imagine that mohegan would want those 10 fcars coming back. fyi: keep a eye on this post for updates. i'll give mohegan a call later on in the week to see about some comps
If you get ten Fcars then call me Ill join you there and make sure you are taken care of, they love me there. I should say they love my money. And if my host wants to see some of the $80k I won this past month then they'll ablige. If not lets all go to Foxwoods where I have 100,000 wampum points they for sure will lets us all pink park and eat and stay for free.
yes, many of the f-cars in ct will be at the hartford concourso, mine included. Any other day, and I'd be happy to make a run to the sun!
A hundred thousand wampum points! Yikes- in twelve years I have yet to break 4 digits on my Wampum account. And that's with only an occasional meal at Cedar's to deduct from the point balance. I must be in the wrong racket. Gio P
