    Actually, that is just one of the reasons they have banned R-12. The old R-12 cans don't have the shrader-like valve on them like the R134 cans. You will have some residual in a used R12 can and it will spray out once the valve is removed. R134 cans you remove and they have a small "psst!" and that's it. That's part of the reason there is a $10 deposit on the return of the R134 cans they are expensive! Next time at Pete's Stoogapoluza bring another can and we can fill the rest of the way.
