"2/28 - Scenic drive and lunch - Exercise your ponies on a scenic drive through Jupiter Island and Indian River Drive. We'll end up at the beautiful Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Jensen Beach for lunch. The food is excellent and the views are great. Pay your own check. At 11:00 we'll gather at the Jupiter Lighthouse Parking lot in Jupiter at US 1 and Alt. AlA.
The Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House (known as The Outrigger Restaurant and Resort), was created by movie star Frances Langford. Langford entertained America’s fighting forces in the Pacific during WW II. Langford’s love of the Polynesian Islands she visited inspired her to build the Outrigger which she opened in the early 1960’s.
