Just A Couple Of Questions.......

    Just wanted to say hi to everybody and show my progress. It's obviously a 81 Mondial 8. Should have it back running by Monday after a valve job and all other necessary stuff that goes along the way. Now back to my questions. 1. How much material has anyone personally seen removed off the rear 360 wheel hub to set the wheel/tire into the wheel well of a Mondial SAFELY? The number I have always hears is about 1/2 inch. 2. I have wrapped the back header with header wrap to protect the differential and axle boot. Has anybody done this and if so what were the results?
    I welcome your thoughts and comments....

    That thermotec exhaust wrap is great stuff. Just don't get it oil-soaked (heat+oil=bad).

    I used it on my 1995 Corvette and it made all of the difference in the world on engine compartment temperature.


    Be careful on modifying 360 wheels, though. Nice look on the Mondial, however.
