    2003 DINAN MINI Cooper S WIP

    This is something I have been hacking away at for pretty much 2 days now, and this is where I'm at right now.

    With this angle completed its onto the side/front view on the upper left of the paper.... I plan to have the MINI logo on the top right and the large image that I'm working on now will be running along a road as you may be able to tell by the moving wheels!

    Created on 14x17 sheet of 65lb artist paper and drawn out using Staedtler mechanical pencil 0.5mm HB lead and colored using Prismacolor Pencil Crayons.

    I do have some F-cars in the works but I actually drive a MINI Cooper S and this is almost identical to my car so I thought it a good place to start.....

    Thanks for the comments guys....

    Man please.... The MINI is one of the best cars in its class, it may not be a Ferrari, but it's one hell of a package for the money....

    You're really good, keep it up. Question: Do you have a reference picture that you draw larger? I use to do that, just draw stuff in a sketchbook, just really bad. I want to start drawing again, along with model building. Once again, good work, lets see some more pictures.

    Yeah I do use a reference picture, I couldn't extract that much detail from and image in my head..... Thanks for the comments :) You will see more, I am starting an F40 after this MINI work is done....

    Well I think it would, not sure entirely though yet as I've never sold one of these drawings..... The ferrari ones, when done may be more popular..... I just love MINI's so I started with this one. F40 is next!

    well this is my vision for how it should be framed, and probably how I would/will do it....

    I think I'm done now guys, with this work, what do you think? Should I add anything else, or is it good like this?

    I like it. I photoshopped the Mini logo in there for you since you mentioned you thought about it before. I like it without though.

    heh thanks for the comments guys, and thanks for the photoshop of the logo.... Yeah i think I'm leaving it at that, nothing more to add. Therefore it is now that I begin my F40 work :D

    Beautiful drawings!

    I would be interested in a similar drawing of both a 348 TB and a 348 spider. Rossa of course! The Ferrari logo, or possibly written across the bottom. I could throw you a few bones for it. If your interested.

    Hey man, thanks, umm actually I'm not part of any car club really, but yeah MINI's are amazingly awesome little cars, and I love mine too! Everywhere I drive in my city I get looked at, since MINI's are a little more rare here, its awesome!

    Thanks alot for the compliment! Yeah man I'm always interested in commission work or new idea's. For now though commission submissions are closed as I'm too busy with school/work/current drawings...
