It would appear I may have made a mistake or on the other hand?

My car is a 03 360 coupe that apparently is about to loose 50% of it's value in 6 months but might not if Ferrari don't pick up the pace with the 430.

It is yellow supposed to be a real hard sell but is also said to be one of the nicest colors for a 360.

It has carbon fiber seats that are also sought after but will make it even harder to sell.

It has after market exhaust that most say are a must but due to it not being original make it hard to sell.

Also god forbid I drive it and put a few miles on it but if I do my seals won't leak and my belts will remain in good condition.

Should I just pay someone to take it off my hands now?

The problem is I love this car.

    Please help me Russell

remember you did not buy this car as an ivestment, but as a fun toy. So you need to go out there and have fun with it which means drive it and drive it hard as it is meant to be driven.. You will drive yourself nuts overanalyzing everything. Worry about the value of the car when you sell it as it is nothing you have any control over right now!

Where did you get that 50% drop in value?
Unless you paid a big premium initially, you'll be in much better shape then any Porsche or Lambo buyer.

    Russell,

You cannot look at the car as an investment. You bought the car to enjoy the driving experience. You love the car, so why are you so worried about the total worth in a few years. When the time comes to sell the 360, you WILL find a buyer- worse case it might take a bit longer than a red/tan coupe. Who cares... it just means more driving time for you!

Think positively for damn sake! And there is so way the car is going to lose 50% of its value in the next few years.... that is unless you paid BIG money for it... and if you did, you were clearly OK with doing so- so get out a drive her- RIGHT NOW!!!!

    Best regards

    -Alex

Sorry if my thread has been viewed in the wrong light, it was supposed to be a bit of a fun dig at peoples differing opinions.
I buy my toys with disposable income and any residual value is a bonus.
For me the car is fine and I drive the wheels off of it.

    Hey Russell,

    I'm with you.

My car is a 00 360 EURO coupe that apparently is not worth buying at any price because it will be hard to sell.

It is yellow supposed to be a real hard sell but is also said to be one of the nicest colors for a 360.

It has aftermarket wheels with a little bling factor which makes it a low class ghetto car (I do have the OEM wheels)

It has after market exhaust that most say are a must but due to it not being original make it hard to sell.

Also god forbid I drive it and put a few miles on it but if I do my seals won't leak and my belts will remain in good condition.

Should I just pay someone to take it off my hands now?

The problem is I love this car.

I too have one of those bastard yellow 360's. By the way, those black rims look sweet. What brand / size are they?

Six months from today, I'll pay you 50 cents-on-the-dollar of today's value for your '03 360.

I miss the old days when Ferrari buyers just bought what THEY wanted and loved it.
