Just bought a 05 Gallardo

One test drive sealed the deal. 6 speed. Shifting is like butter. Only complaint I could see is that it is so refined that it is not that engaging and does not have the racing go cart feel of my 348. I can't afford both so the 348 will have to go.

 

Thanks for the congrats! I'ts on the truck from LA to Portland. I will have it on Tuesday or Wednesday. I test drove a different one they had in stock. It is Black with all black interior inc. stitching. Only options to speak of are yellow calipers and glass bonnet. I'm pretty excited. I never thought I would own a Lamboghini because near 300k purchase price and cost of maintanence was way beyond what I could ever rationalize as a self employed guy with no pension other than Vanguard, Franklin Funds, but the "reasonable" Gallardo changed all that. I will post pics as soon as I get it. Us newbie exotic owners are as bad first time parents when it comes to taking a million pictures from every possible angle.
