Ok, I'm 61. Fast sports car days are slowing coming to a close. I prefer the more comfortable ride these days as my body seems to like less wear on it. Hope in another 10 years I don't end up in a big Lincoln Continental ?? Wanted a more GT type car with still some sport when I need it. With that said here is what I bought. A new 08 Tour De France with beige interior. Most options, $353000 list. Traded my 08 Maserati GT. Love the Maserati, so sexy, but a little short on power. Car should be delivered by next weekend and I can't wait. Will post pictures when it arrives.

Beautiful car with (IMO) a great color package. I love the GT and "4 seater" is probably an exaggeration but the 612 looks like the real deal.

    Congrats and drive that thing!

Here is a picture from the website of the car. Thanks for the kind replies. I plan on driving it, no garage queens for me. Last trip in June was 2800 miles in my SL63. Next trip already planned for November will be 3000 miles in the 612 of course.

That's beautiful, I can see why the 612 can be an obvious choice for some Ferrari owners

Congrats. I had a 612 Rosso Rubino. You will love driving this baby. Just when you're doing 80 and you need to pass a truck, the power under there seems limitless and you'll be going 125 in a flash!!! Very comfortable indeed for road trips. The trunk holds an amazing amount if you pack efficiently. Cheers!

Congrats on getting a very nice looking car.

Most people don't know that Ferrari makes a gents express.

    Enjoy the open roads!

Well, it could only happen to me. Car was shipped last Wed. out of L.A. Truck had a stop in Utah, that's on the way??, before delivery to me in Houston. Car was suppose to be here Sunday. Late Saturday driver calls, brakes bad on truck, in El Paso, TX. Has to wait to Monday for delivery of parts. Now delivery for Wednesday. You cannot image the things that went through my mind. Nothing like being stuck in good old El Paso at the truck stop. Hope he did not take the car out for a quick cruise to Juarez.

What a story!!! I'm in the "waiting boat myself". Left my F430 at the dealer last week since she is sold (but not forgotten) and waiting for my 599 HGTE now which is in production as we speak. So ... I'm F-less and I feel BAD. Moreover, took my M6 out to play on an airstrip last Saturday and she is in for repair as well (starter motor gone bad). Should have the M6 back on Friday. Lost a lot of HP's over the last couple of days.

Hope you'll have your car soon Jerry.

    Best,

    M

Back to being 61. 60 is the new 40, you got a lot longer to go. Congrats on the car, it is beautiful. I think the car will make it a long time.
