    did i get a good deal? 15k and 30k service is done, but will need next service again in about 5 thousand more miles. yellow with black interior. 42k miles. car has all original paint and has a perfectly clean carfax. no dash stretching, and runs out great. its a very clean car, but does have a few minor scratches, rock chips, etc.

    i gave 38k for it shipped to my door, is that a good price or is it just fair?

    i'll try to post up some pictures as soon as i get it.

    Also i am in Dallas so if anyone knows a good spot to have the service done at a reasonable price that can count on then i am all ears.

    I really don't know the 355 market but if nothing major is wrong that seems to be a smoking deal. Congrats.

    yep, flying out to az next week to pick it up, already got a deposit on it. last service was done in 2004 at 23k miles so i know its due but i would rather do it myself and know that it wasnt done by some shadetree mechanic. only thing that scares me is that it still has the original headers on it which i know can be a problem, but who knows, maybe i'll get lucky! if i dont i'll just make it louder with a tubi! BTW, is there any warning signs to look for to know if that or the valve guides are on the verge of failure? its gonna be my first ferrari so hopefully it will be a pleasant experience. thanks for all the positive responses, im happy to join the club!

    If he actually bought the car, that's great. But when you see things that don't add up, it makes you wonder.
    Too many people get on here playing games. I know I'd be pissed if I was the other guy interested in the car and saw this thread and gave up on the car, but then found out it wasn't sold.

    Ya know what, sounds like you live in NZ!!! It is average at best here, although summer is on its way, you wouldn't think so with all the rain and cold we have had lately but I am sure summer will arrive, even for just a day.

    Hey, single life ain't all bad, I'm thinking of taking a ride on a cruse ship, do you recon "the love boat" is real? :)
