I know it's not a Ferrari, but I don't have the spare change for one of those yet. I found an 03 Toyota MR2 Spyder. Yeah it's got a wopping 138 HP, but it only weighs 2200 lbs. I'm planning on adding some upgrades to to pep up that engine. I'm hoping to get around 250 horses out of it. Here is my question. It's an Aero one, I'm looking at a small Chin Spoiler for the car and I wasn't worried about getting a rear spoiler for it considering it's a rear/mid engine car I would think it's got enough weight in the rear to keep it on the pavement. What do you guys think? (Please consider I'm not talking about a big wing or a wing at all, but more of a Lip spoiler to add functional downforce to the rear.)

It's a nice car. I'd like to know about your steps in the engine hp increase.

You have a lot of options regarding front and rear lips and spoilers. My suggestion is to go to www.mr2oc.com (mr2 owners club) as there are some great resources there. I believe there is a nice looking factory kit from TRD. Also, Bomex makes a piece that mounts on the rear hatch that "catches" air and diverts it directly to the intercooler, and there is one available on the other side for the air intake as well. For astetic purposes, I would only use one. Congrats on the purchase.

Thanks for the website, I'll pass it along to our daughter. She just sold her '04 Monte Carlo Dale Earnhart Special Edition and bought a MR2.

I think you should look to that brilliant 2006 Japanese documentary about cars. I saw it on television the other night and I think you can learn great lessons just like Sean Boswell did. He learned a lot about cars and how to drive them.
