Am I dumb? I thought I remember remember reading that this thing could "pull" the coolant out of the system using the vacuum, leading to a real quick flush n' fill. Now everything I read shows that the system has to be drained before pulling the vacuum to replace the coolant. Since it's so hard to get all the coolant out of the 360, that was one of the main reasons for getting it.

Not an answer to your question, but don't worry about getting it all. If you get 95% of it and do it every couple of years, you will have no issues.

Remove one of the two 90 degree hose at the bottom of the car. Apply 10 psi of air pressure from your air compressor to the coolant tank and flush out 90% of the coolant. If you want to get the rest, drain the block. Then, use the new air lift to pull a vacuum, and the refill the coolant.

Yes it’s not for removing coolant. You drain the coolant like normal, then replace the air left with a vacuum using the airlift. And finally then allow it to replace the vacuum with coolant as it gets sucked back in. It’s good for ensuring you don’t get air pockets left behind as these can cause localized overheating/etc.

You’ll likely only get about 2/3 drained.
