This rare and fully documented numbers matching fully restored beauty is one of just 168 total produced for 1970. A gorgeous restored car with fantastic detail throughout, this car is ready show or drive. Documentation includes original build sheet and extensive ownership history. Do not hesitate to add the 'Holy Grail' of Pontiac muscle to your collection. Judge convertibles such as this are simply unattainable with recent sales in excess of $300,000 and a lot more buyers than cars!"
no I was not there I was doing a phone bid through my rep on site....... This should hold its value.......will post pics when the car gets here, shipping out Tuesday should be here Saturday or Sunday NEXT!!! But I will be at the SUPERBOWL with the Seahawks!!!!
As soon as it gets home I will post, there were none on the auction site... I think I got it at a good price, what do you think?
Good for you Roy... I've been watching every minute of it and remember the car. Yes, good buy. Seems most of the goats were a good buy for the money, a conv judge only enhances the future resale value. I also think the bikes were a good buy. White CT held it's own...think it went for 87? Today (Sat) should be intersting.
good buy bad buy, who cares if you like the car. plus you have a great story and a sweet rare muscle car.
I have always been a Pontiac muscle car fan.....I've owned 4 Trans Ams, a couple of Firebirds and one......stock and original, 400, 4 speed, orange Judge coupe over 20+ years ago........sold it for $6K IIRC.......LOL !!........nice buy Roy.......it's one of the horniest Pontiacs ever made, and it's in one of my favorite color combos !!!!!!
Sounds like a fair price to me, at least a price that you won't get hurt at which is saying something for BJ, there is usually a frenzy of bids on the old big blocks...big blocks, big bucks. We'll see you in the big 'D' for superbowl if the Seahawks make it, eh?
I have a question. Will you drive this car or just park it? Not trying to a smart ass but just really intrested. I saw others on BJ go for ridiculous prices and I wonder if these cars will be driven??
I think if you love and always wanted one you got a great deal, if you bought it as an investment only only God knows what the future will hold. In the realm of things considering what other rare musclecar converts are pulling I think it was a good deal. Ram air IV cars are 300-400k cars, so Ram air III should be right behind it, and Hemi and Six Pack Mopar convertibles, well you know CRAZY MONEY!! Good Luck.
