A friend has just bought a low-mileage 52 plate twin turbo Maserati from an independant garage. Apparently he didn't actually drive it until he had paid for it. Less than a week and a 100 miles later, mainly taking it home, he asked another friend to see what he made of the car creeping forward. He confirmed the clutch is dragging and needs replacing. Where do you think he stands in a situation like this. The garage must have known the clutch was almost gone. Can he attempt to reject the car under the sale of goods act? Can he expect a new clutch to be fitted? Or is it ...unlucky? many thanks Harvey
