What I am wondering is the attention you get when you are in your Lambo. I am sure most people in here are decent people and treat others with respect, but I know at times when I was in my Viper, I would get tons of questions and some times people following me in traffic. At first it was fun, but then when you are in a rush or want to be left alone....does it get annoying when people follow you or constantly come up and ask the same old questions like "how much money did that cost?" "Does that thing have a V-8?" "I have a friend with a supra that would kill your car" "Can you roast your tires" "Is that a kit car" "Let me drive it" and so on...I guess I don't mind the legit questions but the ones who want you to abuse your car for their amusement are the ones I want to kick in the nut sack. I have to admit, I have met some cool people because of the car....but any ways just wondering what you guys go through and if you don't answer all the questions due to time...are youconsidered a prick? LOL!

What? Man, the title of this thread is a killer. The "snob look" is generally reserved for those crazy women in Land Rovers ;)

Just smile and be nice to people. If they ask how much it cost say "I can't tell you or you might tell my wife." :D

And you can't worry about being viewed as a "prick" or a "snob." If someone's going to get upset about the car you drive then they have problems of their own; you have to live your life.

It'll happen in any car. You just learn to filter it out. Some people are sincere but don't know what to ask, others are just ****s. Buy a maranello and never wash it - discreet, fun, no one bothers you.

I have been entertaining the idea of filming what happens to me for a reality show. (J/K) EVERY time I drive my Murcielago, people say the funniest/craziest things to me. *This is when limo tint comes in handy. If I don't feel like listening, I roll up my windows!

The tint does indeed work wonders everytime except when people actually walk up to your driverside window and knock while you're at a Stop Light. Then you say Sorry I dont have any money,LOL

I have found from my limited years of owning exotics, Jan 2001 Corvette's prior to 2001, it depends on your attitude and time available to talk cars with interested people at shows, gas stations and restaurants etc. We sponsored a Boy Scout training on Land Surveying for a group of scouts and the coolest thing the kids and adults commented on was the Diablo.....They thought everyone who Land Surveyed drove Lambo's!

My advise is to take time to talk and help others enjoy your car..It can be a blessing...Who knows maybe one of the people will sometime be part of the "dark side."

I enjoy talking to people at gas stations, restaurants etc..The part of owning a Lambo that really is annoying to me is when other drivers act like idiots with their cellphone camera's while I am actually driving.

As with any displays of financial success, it is inevitable that there will be those that harbor negativity towards the owners of such exotics, aka "haters". Here are some of the comments:

small penis -no one says this one to your face, if they do just pull down pants.
    Rich parents
should have invested or donated that money
must be in the entertainment or sports business
auto dealer.... I think there was a thread from the past where we all discussed the comments owners have received in the past.

I would be really interested in hearing some of the comments/thoughts that a girl driver receives from an observer opposed to a male driver of an exotic car.

I'm sure the #1 comment/thought would be either rich husband or rich parents.

Lots of attention with a Pearl Yellow car - especially in the tourist capital of the world - but nothing but positivity...or indifference.
