It does feel less exotic the f430...and its lacking in the exhaust sound.... but I could deal with it.... :) smashing the gas pedal down was incredible

I heard a 570s with sports exhaust, and I thought its about par with F430/458

Yes he car I drove had the sport exhaust, I was expecting the car to be quiet, but it sounded pretty good, cold start was loud, The Ferrari does sound better, but I think Ferrari might be the best sounding cars..hard to beat.

I have a 570S with a track pack and a sports exhaust and I think it sounds great! It's not as loud as the CS, but it will pass most track sound limits, where the CS has been getting booted!

As a package, it is very exotic and the performance is off the charts!

very nice, is your 570s McLaren orange? The interior is smaller on the 570s ..right? seats felt closer to each other then in my F430.... 570S feels like a smaller and tighter car

They are actually pretty similar in size. There is plenty of room in both. For some reason the 570 seems to shrink wrap around you.

I told my employees the other day about track noise limits and how most tracks won’t let you drive your car if it’s too loud. They were gobsmacked. Couldn’t believe how stupid of a rule that was.

If you build your house next to a race track, you should not be allowed to complain about noise.

I took the 570 on a 200 mile drive today and I can confirm the performance is off the charts. But visibility is a weakness. The A-pillar (especially the base) is hugely wide, making it tough to see... and there is the supercar rear 3/4 blind spots. The CS is much easier to live with from the visibility side.

Anyone who grew up with quarter-mile drag racing tracks would agree.

I thought the same when I drove the car, but I thought maybe because I didn't have my seat positioned the best. I felt like I was sitting very low in the car....and I was not use to the car, but my F430 does have better front end visibility.... but I think I could deal with the 570S, and if I buy one I might get a spider

Trust me the 570s is a far far better car than the 430, front end visibility is way better on the 570, the windshield is longer than it is wide, so is all the other aspects of the car, a 430 does sound better with sport exhaust imo and I do like single clutch better than double just for the raw feel of snapping your head back, but you get a great sound from the 570 and the burbles from exhaust are addicting.

As I said before all the things we had to deal with before or should I say were taken away from us like ride quality, comfort, luggage space and decent stereo is all given back to us with McLaren and then some...

And yes get a spider, there is zero advantage to a coupe, you can't tell the difference with top up in drivability or interior sound.

Yes Sir ;), it looks oem fit and finish is incredible, best of all it actually works eliminating some floating from the car when you let off the throttle at top speed.

If you want better sound with 570s and want to stick with OEM, get the titanium exhaust.

For me Ferrari is about soul and presence (aka sound) not speed, its the reason I left Porsche. Mac I feel is between the two. I'm curious to know what you do.

Maybe it's because my CS is so loud that I actually like the 570 sport exhaust. I think it sounds great. It's different, but very good..... and I can pass sound checks at the restrictive tracks, where the CS has been getting booted.

I just did a 1,000 mile road trip in a 570s to carmel and back, a mix of amazing canyon technical roads and mundane freeways. 570s is right in the middle between a 458 and a 911. Huge power, sounded good, amazing handling, great storage, very practical and comfy but still exotic. Its really a great package.

What’s the loudest and deepest exhaust the 570S can have?

I have the sports exhaust, I have heard that the MSO titanium is a fair bit louder.

There are many aftermarket options as well. These things also respond well to down pipes and tuning. In stock form it is on par with the 488 performance wise, tuned they are ridiculous.
