I had a similar problem with my 355 at one time, the dealer traced it to a faulty fuel regulator and replaced it and the fuel pump.

Had a '99 360 and never had that happen - sorry I can't help with the diagnosis. Good luck.

Of course this is not normal. Did you do a PPI prior to purchase? Too many possibilities as to why it won't start. I would have your local dealer check everything along with a diagnostic for any errors.

Hi Jon, actually I was speaking about my 355 that had the fuel pump/regulator issue last summer. It would start fine and run ok, but once I tried to restart I had to wait for it to cool down. Luckily FOC figured it out and I only had to wait for the part for 6 weeks.

By the way did you buy the Red 355 F1? If you did, congradulations and use in good health. I am going to keep my 355 a bit longer.

Have you tried pressing the key fob prior to driving it again?

Are you remembering to use the alarm/electronic key? What do you have to do to get it started again? I've got a 360, and haven't had that problem, at least not yet.

The 360 is the only car I've ever owned that requires the driver to disable the alarm every time you start the car, even if you haven't locked it and set the alarm. If you stop the car and remove the key, you have to disarm the alarm with the remote before you can start it again. Kinda strange, IMO. And, yes, I'm still not completely clear on all the parameters and internal logic.

Thats' what got the young man in Scotsdale!

I'm glad he didn't shoot the secretary. I'll bet she can start one NOW, if she still works there.

I traded my 2000 NSX on a 2000 360 Modena, pick it up on Fri the 28th.
Loved the NSX but can't wait to drive the 360.
