…. And the ONLY thing they did was a pollen filter and inspection. Not upset; just found it funny. 21 F8 with 6300 miles Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes the free annual services are a joke. Money making scheme when the car is out of warranty, but when the car is in warranty everything is pristine.
Same with mine last year but I elected to pay for an oil change. Get out and put some miles on that bad boy! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Allegedly the computer tells them if they need to do an oil change. If there aren’t many miles in between the annual service the computer conveniently just says pollen filter/inspection. I’d imagine after the 7 years of free maintenance that the computer wises up.
True! But I’m ignorant on all this maintenance stuff and after reading a few posts here I decided to do it. 5500 miles at the time. 7500 now. When mine goes in this month it will get the oil service under the covered plan so just 2,000 miles since the last one. Oh well. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Don’t blame you at all. I still remember the days when they recommend changing the oil every 3 months. Way outside my wheelhouse but can’t see how it’s good for the oil and/or car by leaving it in there for 2 years.
My F12 just had its final "free" annual service. The oil was changed at each service. Just turned 45,000 miles so if you actually drive your Ferrari you get oil absolutely FREE!. What a deal.
