Just got back from my trip to Montreal. I had a great time! Here is a little write-up of my day. First, we vistied John Scotti Lamborghini, which was a HUGE dissapointment. I guess it was because they were renevating, but we weren't aloud up onto the 2nd floor where all the Lamborghini's were. The 1st floor had some alot of nice cars though, a few Rolls Royce's, a yellow F355 Spider, a red 348 Spider, 2 yellow Testarossa's, a white 308 GTS, and a black Aston Martin DB7. Next, on our way to lunch, I spotted a yellow F355 GTS waiting in traffic. We drove by too fast though, so I couldn't get a picture. Then, as we walked from McDonalds to the Ferrari dealership just around the corner, I decided to have a walk through the Mercedes dealership to see if they had anything good, and lone behold, there, surrounded by velvet ropes, was a silver SLR McLaren. I couldnt take many pictures because it was behind velvet rope and surrounded by other cars which made it hard to get good angles, and, my camera batteries were dying and I wanted to save it for the Ferrari dealership. (Huge mistake not recharging the batteries before we left). Right beside the Ferrari dealership there is a Jaguar / Land Rover / Bentley dealership. Took some pictures of a silver and a black Aston Martin Vanquish out front. I never realized how great Aston Martin's look. Then I went inside and snapped a quick picture of a black Bentley Continental GT that was in the showroom. I would have gotton more pictures but I was exited to go to the Ferrari dealership, and as I said, my batterys were running low. Finally, I walked into the Ferrari dealership. In the showroom were the following cars: F430 - red / tan (6-speed) Superamerica - light blue / tan 575M Maranello - red / tan 456M GTA - black / tan F355 Berlinetta - silver / black F355 GTS - yellow / black F355 Spider - silver / black 348 TB - red / tan 348 TS - red / tan There were also a few Maserati's including a Quattroport (spelling?). After taking many pictures of the cars in the showroom, I went around back to the garage to see the cars there. In the garage being serviced was a red F430, a light blue and dark blue 360 Spider, a red Mondial, and 2 360 Challange Stradale race cars. Around the garage there were 2 red 360 Modena's, a red 360 Spider, a yellow F355 GTS, and a silver 360 Challange Stradale with the racing stripe. One of the 360 Challange Stradale race cars was being brought around to the other side of the dealership to be washed. It souned AMAZING. I also got to see (and hear) a red 360 Modena and a red 360 Spider speed away from the dealership. Now, for the best part of the day. While I was watching a red 360 Spider wait to be put into a shipping truck, the guy loading it up said "You can go ahead and sit in it if you'd like." I cannot even begin to tell you how exited I was or how big of a smile I had on my face. The engine was running to! I climbed in and sat there for a good 10 minutes in amazment. You see the cars in pictures and videos, but nothing even compares to seeing it in person and even getting to sit in it! All in all I had a great day. Can't wait to do it again. Now, the pictures I took are way to big to post here, does anybody have any ideas?
When Lucas went to John Scotti (this wasn't too long ago) I think they let him look at the Lambos on the 2nd floor? Light blue SuperAmerica is beautiful. Saw it very quickly the other day. You didn't see the F40, did you? (in the FoQ garage) Most likely it had a plastic cover on it and was parked the other side of the garage.
SLR?!?! Lucky!!! I have yet to see one of those! I guess i'm headed to Decarie tommorow! They don't mind picture taking in there?
I did see a red F40 in the garage the last time I went. Is it always there or something? Not at all. You can even sit in all the other cars exept the SLR.
Yea I had to drool over them from the pic i took from the road. They did have about 8 lambo's up there including... 40th aniv murci, yellow SV, gold SE 6.0, red SE30, black countache, silver VT, black VT and red murci roadster. There might have been more but thats all I could make out in the pic. I'm looking forward to seeing your pics ! Congrats on the 360 sitting.
