    posting to say thanks to all who answered my posts when i was looking into buying my 308 GTB, S/N 25705. just got the car today and it was a moment to remember, watching the car backing out of the truck. sniff, i feel emotional...now hopefully it won't snow/rain anytime soon!

    Congrats John...your car must be a late 1978...as I previouly owned a 1978 308 GTS #25748 or there abouts...built in Oct or Nov, IIRC.

    How many times can I say: she is magnificent! You chose well. Just bought a 328 myself. When you can’t sleep at 3am think of how you will mount the fire extinguisher, etc.

    I assume from the GA license plates that that's Monty Meersma's old car. You got a peach!! I've known Monty for a while and he takes impeccable care of his cars. When that blue 308 went to the FCA national meet in Atlanta a few years back you could've eaten off any part of the engine and undercarriage and known it was cleaner than any surface in your kitchen.

    Hey bud...please change your public profile...YOU'RE AN OWNER NOW!!!

    It's beautiful...lot's of luck and PLEASE drive carefully...it will take 300 to 500 miles before you realize EXACTLY what you have at your command so be very carefull.

    Congratulations on your GTB. I'm partial to "B"s - they look like God meant the 308 to look.

    Yeah, red ain't all that. Color is everything. I just photographed my black on black for the first time. It teaches you how to have your dogs in a row. You have a beauty.
