Cool to see all the Lambos out in force! Great pics...sorry I missed it. I did notice one odd thing though...lots of Murcis, a few Gallardos, one Countach, but zero Diablos. You just never hardly see the Diablos anymore at all. So what is the premise for the upcoming "reality show"? "More exciting ways to spend your weekend than at the golf course"?
Two Murcis came out, but yeah I know what you mean, out of several events the past 6-9 months (by BW or Lambo Dallas), I believe there has only been ONE Diablo to participate, and that was the Fall Rally last year. May also have been a couple at the LoD grand opening and the black turbo that has been to Cars and Bikes.
The guy in the back ball cap I think is is Greg Ray, former IRL driver & Dallas local. I don't remember seeing their group at the start of the drive, just when we arrived at BL for lunch. Not sure the name of the show but was told will air in July.
Yes, read how they are ONLY using that controversial "working title" just to drum up free publicity. If that's their best tactic, I'm sure the show will be very lame.
RUF had a red Momo Edition Roadster for quite some time. I remember seeing it at 2 of their events last year.
Yeah but if it was in the shop getting work done, I don't count that...now if the owner drove it to/from the show, then that works heehee lol
Well, it WAS at Italian CarFest in September of last year, along with a blue Roadster and the black VTTT that was mentioned (VTTT wasn't entered in the show). There was supposed to be a yellow Diablo SV there, but it never showed up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I DID say events by BW/LoD, but I know what you mean haha...forgot about this show!! Hopefully there will be one at the Concorso
Haha. Me too. Been awhile since I've been able to stand next to one (I saw a silver Roadster 2 months ago driving by BW Porsche however).
The great thing about these shows is the variety of vehicles that attend, depends if it hasn't already been sold (unless the new owner brings it to the event.)
As far as I know, it's still sitting there in the showroom. A DFWAC member was there today and saw it being "unpacked". I don't think it could get sold between now and Saturday though.
That was a good show! Thanks to Boardwalk for organizing it. Here are a few of my pictures. As usual, one of the best events of the year. The diversity of cars was excellent, meeting new friends was fun, and the food was incredible.
Glad you enjoyed it folks! We can't do it without you. Excellent turn out....even the Plano PD stopped by! Don't forget the drive-in movie this Friday night after the Maserati MC review!
PD stopped by b/c they need the money from ticket revenue to meet their "performance standards" (spelled: quota)
Here is my usual contribution to the world. Video might be a little dodgy because I am still getting used to a new camera. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXG1RmZtq20[/ame] Enjoy
