Just installed the custom brake package from Brembo. It is a Gran Turismo big brake kit featuring custom painted calipers, finished by Race Technologies to match the Giallo Modena hue of the car. We also did Brembo racing logos as opposed to the normal logos. Additionally, we did 10mm Eibach wheels spacers to bump out each corner ever-so-slightly for a slightly wider track. I want to get outdoors and cane this thing and stomp on the brakes, but it has been pouring up here the entire week...as soon as it dries out, i will open up some whoop-ass and see what these things have in 'em...

One of my employees and I will post a video of a panic stop with the car- stay tuned ; )

What size are the rotors? Did you have to use longer wheel bolts with the spacers?

just be sure to properly bed in the brakes before you stand on them!
(not trying to say that you aren't going to do this, just want to protect your investment)

How is the feel compared to the normal brakes?

Looks to me like the yellow 355 is going to have some tire-meets-fender problems with the tires out like that.

    Right or wrong?

They are 19" all around, I had some rubbing issues with the front on hard cornering, so I had to get my front fenders folded just like on the challenge stradale.

If I miss something, clue me in. I sourced the kit from Race Technologies in Ca. If you are interested, here is their phone # 310-306-3158.
Thanks for the suggestion for bedding the breaks in prior to any aggressive braking. I will follow that advice. Approx. how many miles do you think that is?
I actually needed shorter wheel bolts, even with the spacers, b/c of this wheel application. The OE bolts and spacer bolts were much longer. There hasn't been any issues with rubbing rubber, locked in, locked out and also driving the car. The package came with 16" dics......
    Thanks,
    Ben

My 355 has H&R sport springs, and I've adjusted the height a little lower so that explains why mine rubbed in the front

Since those killer brakes and calipers are on there...having those brightly polished rims anodized in gunmetal would look fabulous...and the brakes would really stand out then.

Ed I want to bring down the ride height but have been advised not to. I live on the east coast thinking mostly road clearence issues being the reason. Changing the springs should have dropped your car an inch. I was thinking of turning down the coilovers an inch what do you think vers changing springs??

Dino were can I get an anodizing job done on these chromed wheels???Messing with chrome can be tricky I have been told. Was thinking of doing them black but i like that gun metal idea.....

If you like the ride of the factory suspension then I would say adjust the coilovers for the lower ride height. But if you're looking for a bit more firm ride then change the springs. If I remember correctly the factory coilovers can be adjusted pretty low. As for rubbing issues, it really depends on your wheel's offset and tire combo. There are Tire calculation programs on the internet to compare your new tires to the stock ones to make sure the overall diameter stays roughly the same. Here's one I found.

    http://www.net-comber.com/tirecalc.html

The 355 looks alot better when the wheel gap is reduced, you can't tell how beautiful your wheels look unless you get rid of the wheel gap by lowering the car. The only drawback is clearance over speed bumps, and going up driveways. Also you might have to Fold/Roll your front fenders if you decide to lower. I've seen many Stock 360 modenas with Stock wheels that even have rubbing problems, so the safest way is to fold your fenders.

I don't know exactly what surface prep is required for anodizing since it's moslty a chemical procedure. It isn't like paint where the surface needs to be scuffed so the paint can 'bite'.
