I thought I would give my two cents on this. Easy to install. At idle it's hard to notice the dif in sound. Once you get to 3000 rpm, Oh..yaaaaa! If you're looking for a slight sound change like I was, this will make you happy. BTW, I left the pre-cats intact.
Whose pipes, and how much were they? The only ones I have seen for sale were 800$ or so...seems pricey for 2 simple pipes...hyperflow cats aren't much more!
Contact Eric for a good deal on test pipes. His e-mail is [email protected]. Henryh (F-chatter) may still be making them as well, not sure. You should be able to get a set for around $300.
So the test will be on going???????? I had the hyperflow testpipes on my ex-348. I bought them from Daniel at Ricambi America.
I purchased them from Ferrari Parts Exchange. Nice people, but be prepared for up to three or four weeks for delivery. They are made in England and cost approx $400.00. O2 sensor holes are located in the correct place. They list them on their website. I highly recommend these if your looking for that "slight increase formula sound" above 3000 rpm. Also, the engine bay is cooler now.
