have any of you guys come across this youtube vid? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r27J8paCzE Pretty big claims on your ponies - Anyone else intrigued? The "SpeedInnovation" googles to a website though - I may give a few people a call. But enjoy, nice to hear another F dyno . Cheers, OC
Looks like normal or slightly low power for a 5.2 F355. Here are a few lines I was able to read: HP 293 TQ 212 HP 294 TQ 210 HP 290 TQ 209
Id rather not say, on the fact that it may incriminate me. I did best 254HP at the bags in the 348. Would be around 260HP in 'normal' conditions. Better fuel, not as hot ect....ect..... So I am backing you in saying that is rather piss poor 355 effort. Unless it is in KW on the screen. That would be nearly 400HP at the wheels of that bad boy then! Yeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
You must have great eyes - I couldn't try to make it out without making out with a headache. But I did follow up on that to get the physical dynosheet. I've attached it, but Jay (the representative I was forwarded to) mentioned that this particular 355 was dyno'd on the spot, starting from stock to final numbers on their software. The 294 was a basic reflash and through some magical tweaking on the dyno, the customer's vehicle developed a solid 300. He also said the guy's at the dyno were amazed beyond belief, haha. Now that I don't know. I can only get a quote for you and PM, I can't see this being more than $2K, especially since the 355 is dated, but these are the highest +hp numbers I've ever seen NON-advertised. I applaud them for that since this was practically live and they even left the dynos untouched (swansonperformance leads to mustang performance dyno guys - haha, another breed of prancing pony if you will). Here is a video of chaa's F355 his has documented 329 RWHP with OEM headers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqeF7zR17wA
Please be advised that the cables used to hold a 355 on the dyno are double the size of the ones used for a 348(see Chaas video)....this is indicative of only one thing...greater torque and hp....lol
Bah, they look like shoes strings holding his 355 down on the rollers. I had to use 2x3" wide snatch-em straps and 4x20kg sandbags in the back to hold my 348 down on the rollers!
I don't know what you're smokin down there, but thats what you use to "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Mate"...lol
