I have just been transfered by my company to Germany in the Frankfurt area and am wondering what kind of Ferrari activities or shows there are. I heard there may be one this weekend? Unfortnately I had to sell my 355 but I did place myself on the list for a new 430, I have to look forward to something. Can anyone help in a contact for any local Ferrari clubs? Any help would be appreciated.
I have seen a tremendous amount of exotics here. It seems like the exotics come out on the weekends in downtown Frankfurt.

    Welcome to Germany!

    Absolutely no problem!
The best thing would be to check out www.carpassion.com/de. This is Germany's best car forum with quite a few active Ferrari-owners, some of whom live in Frankfurt. You can also post in English, shouldn't be a problem.

Also, going to the Ferrari Racing days (21.9.-23.9.2007) at the Hockenheimring is a must. LOADS of Ferraris and other exotics attending: http://www.racingdays.de/
The official German Ferrari club is here: http://www.ferrari-club-deutschland.de
send them an email, they can help you as well

I'll ask around if there is a local Ferrari club in Frankfurt.

Theres a Ferrari dealership that I visited. They have a nice selection of cars to look at usually, or in your case, buy. I'm sure the employees there could help you out. Their website is www.ferrari-frankfurt.de

I'm sure you already know this seeing as how you bought an F430. Congrats, btw.

Can't say anything about the Ferrari venues, but you've got amazing roads in the forests and mountain ranges (okay, rather hills than mountains) around Frankfurt. Taunus in the west, Odenwald in the south, Spessart in the east. Living there, I mainly know the roads through the Spessart Forest, but they are really beautiful, including old hillclimbing tracks and everything you need. If you need some suggestions, feel free to drop me a message :)

Thanks for the leads! I,m living in Wiesbaden, I have yet to stop at the local Ferrari dealer. I,ve lived in Germany for a while about 15 years ago, the roads are terrific, especially the obvious autobahn for some quick runs. Seeing and hearing performance cars actually running at speeds they were designed for is fantastic.

Drive down the A3 to Würzburg, get on the A81 down to Stuttgart. Afaik the longest part of non-speed-limited road on the world, and zero traffic. If you go there on a Sunday morning, half of the cars you see there are Mercedes and Porsche prototypes. In Stuttgart (where you might visit some exotic dealers or the Mercedes museum), take the A8 and later the A5 back to Wiesbaden (but only on Sunday, really crowded otherwise). Should be an amazing drive in a fast car.
