    I can't really afford a manual.

I sustained some severe injuries in 2016, hit by a DUI. I didn’t drive for 5 years during physical therapy until I got a (restricted) license in June of last year. Now I drive a Tiptronic-equipped Porsche 911/964 and it’s been fantastic. I’m grateful for every drive, because life now is bonus time. The manual 964s sell for more, but the Tiptronic was exactly what I needed. Couldn’t care less about the absence of a clutch.

Your E-gear Gallardo is probably quicker than the old school manual, so I wouldn’t give a second thought about which gearbox.

Life is a one way trip. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

    Enjoy your Lamborghini.

Totally agree! And I don't have any physical reason not to drive a manual.....the current paddle-shift cars are simply great to drive! Not to mention quicker, as you noted.....
I'm leaving a rare 6-speed manual and looking forward to a PDK.......

I've never driven a 964 but I love the looks of them. I wish you health and happiness, one day at a time.
