    Yeah, that's right!

I just returned from spending a week in Italy, and while on vacation I visited the Ferrari Factory for a tour. Of course this was arranged several months ahead of time. Very, very informative and pleasant.

We also enjoyed '2' meals at the Cavalleno Ristorante, and may I suggest that not only was the meal excellent (and fair priced), but the service as well!!

Anyway, anyone on the list for a tour (can't help w/you securing a tour), I can help you with instructions/directions on how to get there!

    I'll send pictures soon!

Send me an inquiry if I can offer assistance.

    Regards, Chris

How did you arrange for your tour?
Must you contact a dealer and have them do it for you?
The reason I askis I may find myself in northern Italy soon and visiting the Ferrari factory is something I would love to do. I already visited the Skoda factory but for some reason i think the Ferrari factory will be more exciting.

    Hello Fellow "F"-Chatters,

Thank you so much for the kind replies, it was truly an experience!

For the "F"-Chatter that requsted info. on how to get in:

What I did was contacted my local Ferrari dealer (they see me often), and requested an application for the Ferrari Factory tour and submitted it the next day. You'll have to inform Ferrari S.p.a when you'll be in country, they'll then (if it meets within their schedule), give yoiu a date that works for them.
Within a week, Ferrari of North America will send you a Fed Ex package with a list of details/directions and the confirmantion.

    Hope that helps!

    Chris.

Can't wait to see some pics! That is DEFinitely at the top of my list for "things to do" when the wife decides she wants to take a Euro vacation. For now, I'm comfortable inside the borders of this country...if ya' know what I mean.

I was there in April this year - Went to the Museum and the shop as well as the restuarant. They all said the Ferrari Factory no longer does tours :)

Guess I didnt look like your average Ferrari owner at the time. . .

You can not walk in and do the tour. It is by pre-arrnaged and approved appointment only.

The other way is to contact Mrs. Rodriguez at FNA direct in New Jersey. She was most pleasant and helpful. I sent her my registration papers for my car to prove i am an owner and gave her the week I was planning to be there with a certain day being my most favorite of them and got what I wanted. May have been luck though.
Met with Jerry that day who did the same tour and was lucky and met Mr. Montezemolo on the factory floor. Most pleasant guy.

Thats great! I had a great experience when I visited the factory a couple years ago. I am going back to Italy for my honeymoon next year but I still haven't convinced my future wife to visit the factory just yet. :(

I did keep my visitor tag though:)

    Hey Aaron,

    There's no problem.

I visit Europe, it seems like every '2' years, just act/dress like a Europen-er and you've got it licked! LOL, I do know what you mean though!

    Regards, Chris.

    Hey Schmick,

It was to my understanding that what you may have heard was possibly true.
I was informed earlier that Ferrari wasn't inviting visitors earlier this year. I'm not an authority on the subject, as I'm sure some of the more seasoned Ferrari veterans may have another thought on the subject.
Interesting to note, that nobody on tour looked as if they owned a Ferrari! Myself included, Ha-Ha. Great people to visit with, from all over the globe.
    Regards, Chris.

As I had stated earlier, my tour was arranged though Ferrari of North America, however with that said, my starting point was the local dealer.

    Hey Rick,

Does the Montana offer the same charm as Cavallino?

    By that I mean "decor"?

Montana's is very much more "Family style" and plainer. That is of course if you discount the amazing display of factory race driver memoribilia hanging on the walls. That alone puts Cavallino on the trailer.
