Very nice - I have the same wheel on my TR (Non-Suede though).

I like the original steering wheels look, but I have to agree on the feel of the suede. It still looks sweet!!

Nice, but bear in mind your old steering wheel was not centrally mounted (late '88 328 judging by the door handles?), so now you'll have less knee room and a slightly different feel to the steering weight as your hands will be a different distance from the centre.

    Just checked your profile.....happy Birthday!!

Looks GREAT AugDog! Do you have to put anything on the suede to keep it nice?

Happy Birthday buddy - chat with you soon!

Augustine -- Please also give the size of the st. wheel to go with the photos. Is it 320mm-ish?

To my eye the wheel looks to be exactly the same size and shape as stock, so I don't see what the difference would be. Am I missing something?

I'm sure the suede feels good on cold days.....

Thanks for the B-Day wishes guys! I'll check when I get home tomorrow but I think that this new wheel is the same size and shape as the stock wheel. The only real differences are that the rim of the wheel seems slightly thicker and there are grips at the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock positions. I decided on the 350MM size.

    Augustine,

I put the same wheel in my 308 then 328. It is a 330MM. However after about 3 years the suede started looking flattened out at 10 and 2 o'clock. Nothing horrible, but not perfect. I liked the feel of the wheel so much I just replaced it with my second one. Will be selling the other it's a 8 out of 10. I will just rotate my hands a little more often.

Jerry, where did you get your wheel? I called Momo in Lake Forest but they don't sell directly to customers. Where's the best deal? I'm looking to replace mine with a leather Monte Carlo. Thanks
