Nice shots. I like yours better than the ones I took.

I have a good shot of you from today's rally on the LIE. Let me know if you want it posted here or emailed.

It was nice to open her up and take a long run with over 50 Ferraris.

    Congratulations!

Now who's going to organize the 3x8 national meet? ;)

Good to see you today, as well. I got side tracked and lost once I stopped for gas. I have some photos of today's event as well. I still have to give it some touch-up before posting. I'll pm you for the photos!

BTW, mine is the middle one. Euro.

Great weather on Sat. Nice to meet some fellow 3x8 owners. We are all relatively new so a good swap of stories.
I'm on the right '81 GTSi

Very nice! Who's is the Euro? ETA: DOH! just went back and read Ace's post, disregard!

Those are some great (I'm sure unintended yet fortuitous) shots btw of the front and rear bumper/aesthetics comparison between US and Euro 328s, and the 328's predecessor to boot! Outstanding!

Nice pickup. I was looking at that too. It's interesting how much the US front bumper sticks out.

    5 mph DOT crash standards.

You wound up w.a Euro - was that by design or chance? Mine was the 1st (but not only) 328 I visited, and after seeing this model unadulterated by US import standards - I knew I had to have a Euro. While the subsequently-visited US cars were nice specimens I kept comparing the aesthetic variance and preferred the Euro.

Not by choice, since I know a tiny fraction of what I know now. But given the choice I would go euro. You know the saying "once you go euro, you never look back!" Aesthetics aside, the engine has better response than the US version. The sound is also much better. Bill pollard told me that "at certain RPMs" the euro with tubi sounds like a 288GTO. (I think he may be just pulling my rather long chain!)

Also nice to see the differences between the black roof spoiler, body color spoiler and spoiler-less on cars of the same color :)

I was told mine came like that from the factory. Does anyone know if a euro 328 can be ordered with a body colored spoiler?

It was funny, a group of us made a wrong term and went a different way than the map.

At one point I had 10 fcars lambos and maseratis following me and my GPS through the back roads in the hamptons.

If you are interested in coming to the NYC area, I'm sure Ace, Weaselwee , Ducowti and I could possibly put something together.

Plenty of nice locations to gather, good hotels, and great restaurants.

Come in the fall and the colors are amazing on the trees.
