    Welp, I don't know how to really get started on the this here forum, I as you can figure, am new. Some dude with a prancing horse tatoo suggested I try this place in order to get myself closer to the cars, since they are a passion of mine. Anyway, I know how forums work. There are customs specific to each one and anybody who steps outside the pecking order usually gets enough crap that they leave. I don't want to do that here, so my questions are, where do I start? What do I look at first? Any customs I should be aware of? Is there like some introduction thread or newbie hazing I must endure?

    Welcome. Just be yourself. Don't come in blazing just sit back and take all that Ferrarichat has to offer. You will get the feel of it real fast.

    Well I feel warm and fuzzy now....I will try these suggestions. Thanks for the warm welcome, I am typically obnoxious so I will try to be good.

    I first fell in love with Ferarri's when I was 4. My brother had a model of a 512 BB and I couldn't believe it was a real car. Ever since, I have been on a mission. I made a slight side track getting married and having kids. I made a further side track send the the kids to Catholic school, that by comparision, makes a Ferarri look cheap. Anyway, I figure, by emursing myself in a ferarri soaked environmemt, I will get myself closer to one. Those environments are hard to find around here. Shutting up.....

    Check out that thread with all the reposts - that pisses people off the most... Other than that, you should be good... Just consider searching before you ask certain questions (ie, F1 vs manual, speeding tickets, celebrities and their Ferraris, Ferraris in movies, highest mph, favorite super cars, etcetera)...

    Don't hesitate, just jump right in - this thread was a good start... Check out the Atlanta region forum for local events and feel free to PM any time... :)

    Oh, BTW, a great idea for a thread that doesn't get posted more than every month or so is the "I need to transport a car from A to B. Any transport company suggestions?"

    Yes, that is when I met you....Apparently, you 're a legend. That was a fun day, but I am still mucho disappointed in the BMW 530. I thought it would be much better, I guess I had high expectations. Another lesson learned, just like when I figured out that by the time you make a Jap car trully fast, the chassis can't handle it and you could have bought a car that was already fast with the money you spent.
    Italian car day looks like fun, and I think I will patronize if I don't have to work...Maybe I'll bring the family, my wife pretends not to like cars, but it's a lie, she's a big diablo fan.

    Italian Car Day is fun and there's a really diverse showing of cars... You'll enjoy it... Also, there's Euro Fest at the BMW factory the week after and there will be a lot of Ferraris there... i'll see you soon...
