Hi all, So here it is: Image Unavailable, Please Login My car’s plaque for reference: Image Unavailable, Please Login Car is stock, has PPF, full tank, no spare tire or tire holder, has some stuff in the boot (not that heavy, car cover and original tool kit). 1823kg as you can see, as opposed to the official 1630kg kerb weight. I’m guessing the 1630kg figure is with almost no fuel, fuel capacity is 92L and 1L of fuel is almost 0.75kg, so if we factor that in we can add 70kg to that figure. That leaves 123kg to account for in options and PPF. Weight distribution is 47% front 53% rear, exactly as claimed. The scale should be accurate to 1kg.
I don’t have the document at hand, but when they weighed my 812 for its flight from Italy it weighed 1640kg with an empty fuel tank. Not sure what else may or may not have been in the car with it.
There will be a substantial difference in weights of different 812s depending on extras. An 812 with Racing alloys, Racing CF seats and no Suspension lift or JBL will be about 60kg lighter compared to one with Full electric seats, standard alloys and with Lifter and JBL
812 was more of a GT so in fairness likely doesn't have CF wheels and no radio, etc. Over 2 tons is just plain heavy.
True, but it will still spin the rear wheels in third when going 60 mph I think it is the perfect daily driver
The difference is because Ferrari always give the dry weight ie no oil, coolant, fuel etc. There is always a 150-200kg difference with a car "on the road" Other manufacturers will declare at least the oil and coolant etc
The official 812SF dry weight is 1525Kg with the DIN Kerb weight at 1630kg and the EU Kerb weight which adds 75Kg for driver and luggage. Thw 812GTS is 120kg heavier than the 812SF which must mean its close to 2000Kg in road trim with driver.
I weighed my FF with half gas tank (#1943 in the FF picture thread):1980 daN! The scale was an agricultural scale, perhap's not the most accurate.
Well to be honest that's not as bad as I thought it would be. I wouldnt have been surprised to see it above 2 tons, knowing it's a huge car, V12, 4wd, 4 seats, pano roof etc. Especially if the 812 GTS is already in that range!
