Just won my first eating contest!

Went to Pluckers on Greenville with my old college roomy and a friend. We won the trivia contest for $75 and then they had a speed round for eating 5 hot wings the fastest. I thought.....hmmm.. had a couple beers and I am a bit hungry so walked up there. Jalapeno seeds everywhere and could smell the vinegar/heat from 4 feet away. Anyway, using techniques I learned from a Kappa Kappa Gamma Hooters girl in Tulsa OK 10 years ago and I smoked the competitions tails. Everyone else was getting judge complaints for meat left on the bone, but not me. Might as well have been vulchers on the scene. I won hands down, but only 5 wings. 10 wings and I would have been dead as I couldn't swallow them fast enough. THe heat didn't kick in til about 5 mins later, but by then it was over. So in short we ate for free and drank for free with our $90 in winnings. America! Gotta love it!
