Is the K1,2,etc (for Ferrari) on tires really important? How much different can they be than for another make? Some have none at all.

Curious about this as I need new tires.

    Thanks all.

In theory they mean something since Ferrari had some input to adjust the spec of the tyres (thread and / or compound, to some extent), like "N" for Porsche or "MO" for Mercedes.
Differences are typically not dramatic but what's better avoided is to mix different specs.
