I just installed the Gruppe M system air cold system. I don’t know if it is my imagination but I’m feeling the car a little more responsive at low revs and this system also uses K&N filters. Before I had only the K&N filters with the stock system and I don’t felt any difference expect for the air noise when I push the gas. I think this system push a lot more faster air into the engine than the stock system. This also has two inlets of air, one from the left side which is connected to the car body and one hole at the right side which I think is getting cold air from the louver. The only negative thing and this is going to Trev is that the stock system with the filters weights 10 pounds and this system weight 14 pounds.
Here are some pictures. Since I bought a used system and it does not came with the titanium heat shield I made my own heat shield with a carbon fiber plate with a heat blanket attached behind and I also wrap around the test pipes with heat wrap just to prevent any damage to the carbon fiber air box.

I listen to the pros and the pros say "Why bother?". But whatever floats your boat is fine with me. You pays your money and you takes your chances. OEM for me.
