Just saw info on K40 Calibre 360 degree protection and radar defense. Is it comparable to Valentine1? Does anyone have any experience with this product? Is it worth high price?

Not sure what the K40 Calibre is but I had a K40 hard wired into my car and didn't like it near as much as my Escort Passport. I get less false hits and it's saved me numerous times.

The K40 Calibre is a bluetooth radar detector network (laser jammer. front and read antennas). I have two of them and they work very well, with very few false alerts.

I am glad they got better; I have an older K40 hard wired and it is crap.

I have the K40 bluetooth with laser and depending on where I am driving, I get lots of false alerts. My Mercedes distronic system constantly trips it when I am near the car as well.

    Joe:

    Do you have Distronic Plus?

The good news is that I may have the solution, but I am looking for a Distronic Plus equipped Mercedes to test it.

PM me if you are interested in being the beta tester (and get a free product)!

I should have mine operational tonight and will know how it is, ie; false alerts, etc... I have an older K40 in my M5 and it works very well as in long distance alert.
