Shameless self-promotion here .. hope I don't offend anyone with this but the current issue of Forza magazine has a story I wrote about how a unique relationship with the Ferrari racing team in the mid '60s helped start an American company. Probably their biggest product were Momo steering wheels made by Gianpiero Moretti. It was a terrific experience researching this topic and the timing of the article's publication couldn't be better as Karl spoke in Hershey, PA last week and I got to see him and present him with a copy of the magazine.

He was very pleased that someone was interested in this company that he started 46 years ago. I think most of you guys will enjoy the article... at least I hope so.
    Warm regards,

I enjoyed reading it. It was a bright point in what, all too often, has become a stale magazine. Hopefully, Forza will have more historical articles in the future, and less of the endless series of value guides...

Thanks a lot Trash. I admit to favoring the historic articles as well. I'm working on a couple more now. One on Gianpiero Moretti's Ferrari connection and, I've got a story coming on the Scuderia Sant Ambroeus with a pile of beautiful, never before published period photographs.

    It should be pretty good.

    agree
Cavallino does cover the historic cars well IMHO
but the whole value guide thing can be redundant, particularly with FML,etc.
