    I bit the bullet and got a new engine for one of my karts. Just seeing who may be interested in getting a bit of track time in a 100cc kart at the Atwater Kart track, 25 minutes S. of Modesto. We can make it on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in July or August. The dates we CANNOT do it is 7/11 , 7/24, 8/21, 8/28 and 8/29. I trust Art will see this thread and let us know when he and his buddy Jeff can make it.

    The track is a real hoot and the 100cc karts are plenty fast! Moreso than driving until you drop, it would be a great chance to meet some new people. (I may have Vincent convinced into buying a kart!).

    to peters, our group from stockton would love to come down to atwater for karting day sometime on the 1st weekend of august. second week of august is the monterey weekend that will last through the 3rd week. some of us don't own a kart or gear, can we rent at site . please let us know. thanks

    we will be there on 8/7. head count will be later since its a month a away. still need info on folks who want to rent gear and kart. do they have it at track for use? because some folks don't own go-kart.
