I'm trying to find the name and web site for the new kart track in Centennial. Can someone help.
I still have a Trackmagic 125 shifter kart for sale... PM me if you're interested. Thanks (and sorry for the shameless plug), Matt
I've heard of this track but never took the time to track it down (no pun intended ) but after viewing the website, I'm seeing an F-Chat track day in the not too distant future! Thanks for the link Ryan.
I think these are the same folks that ran the cart track at the Denver Grand Prix. Nice guys. I spent money like a crack addict at the setup they had at the GP.
I'm pretty sure you are correct. If it wasn't for working the Denver GP each year, I too would spend money like a crack whore on those carts, they sure look like fun! The only track time I've had with local carts was when the old in-door track off of 1-70/Colorado was still in operation...talk about a workout
I did so many laps in those stupid things that my brains were scrambled for about two days afterwords. I think it was $50 per session. When my credit car statement came my wife was convinced I'd been on some kind of a lap dance frenzy.
Well, you were in a way...sorta My upper body still hurts to this day, thinking of the workout from those in-door carts.
Too bad they don't have kart storage. That's what they really need. I would love to be able to leave my kart there and zip down there every now and then with just a bag of my gear.
Ryan, based on the information form their website, they have a waiting list for cart storage. They also offer a fly/drive program where you leave your cart at the track and when you feel like playing Schumacher, you call ahead to let them know you're on your way and they get it warmed up for you and when you've had your fun for the day, they'll even clean it up!
Jeez. I haven't seen that on the site? I emailed them last week and told them that I would like to do exactly that (fly/drive) and they said that they have nothing like that but they would look into doing it. I wonder how long that's been on their site?
