    Hey everyone,
There is an open invitation from the Viper Club for some friendly competition on the track (go-cart) on April 23rd at Sycart in Tukwila.

Contact me or Will D. for further information.

I can probably make it to this. I contacted Will and he said it's looking like a low turn out so far. It should also only cost $50. Come on guys! We don't want the Viper club thinking they're better than us :)

I'm in! Let's get a few more people signed up.

The karts are 6.5 hp, which is more than most indoor places, and the track is longer and more challenging as well. Definitely fun!

Hopefully I'll have a weight advantage over the viper guys. I only weigh 140 lbs. It's easy for me to beat older guys with a slight beer belly.

I need to buy a Ferrari shirt so they'll know a Ferrari club member is beating them :)

Anyone else planning on attending this? It's an indoor track so the weather conditions will not matter.

Don't forget to be there this Saturday. Win or lose, we at least need to show 'em we mean business. I think we can win!

    Race on!

Leave early if you have to go through Seattle to get to Sykart. Traffic is supposed to be bad this weekend due to lane closures...

"Drivers should expect traffic congestion in both directions of I-5 through Seattle all weekend."

Hey Mark, let's meet up at my house if you're coming from Everett. I'm on the way. Give me a call if you read this in time and I'll tell you my address. I live right off of 405. *Edit* I looked you up in the NWR FCA directory and called your house. Wife said you've already left. See you there I guess.

There were five or six Ferrari club members, and eight or ten Viper club members at Sykart on Saturday. All the Ferrari club members and most of the Viper club members raced. A good time was had by all, I would say, based on the smiles and laughter.

The Ferrari club upheld our reputation by placing 1st, 2nd and 4th. The Viper club showed they know how to drive too, by placing 3rd and 5th. David France was 1st, Dan Alexander 2nd, and yours truly was 4th. Some of the Viper club members were taking digital photos, so hopefully those will be available soon.

Which club will be the next challengers? Corvette club? BMW club? We'd better be careful, some of those guys are serious racers!

Looking at the results again, it was actually Ryan S. that had the fifth-fastest lap time of the day, so it was Ferrari club 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th, Viper club 3rd and 6th.

Ryan also showed us his new 355GTB - she's a beauty!
