I hope that they will be running supertrack, which is both tracks combined. Should be tiring, but a lot of fun. Also, I don't know if they will allow heats and then races. It might just be a "practice session" where you try and go as fast as you can till the time's up. I will have details tomorrow (Wed) and I will post them. Hope to see you all there!
Faisal - is the cost going to be similar to past events? I felt that it was good value for money then.

nah, we are lazy. We are actually trying to shock our predominantly Italian-American neighbours by introducing (yes, introducing) them to Indian food....Everyday, at work, I run into people who have never tried sushi, or thai, or whatever. Is it not the whole point of living in the bay area? PS. Best Polish food is in West Portal, a place called Old Cracow (Krakow), for those who want to broaden their culinary horizons even further.
Sorry for the late notice, guys, but the event is cancelled. Reasons: ---------- - A few of the attendees bailed (only 6 to begin with). - Rich/Chris went early. - It's crap weather and I am parked in front of the TV (and computer)! Also, GKR promised a discount, and after landing them about $8,000 so far, they offered a measly $6 off per person, and that was after I caught them in a couple of lies. Alternative suggestions?

I gotta check that place out next time I am up there, Stare Krakow. We have a Warszawa down here that is pretty good for bigos, golompki and stuff. I made pretty good nalesniki this past weekend, zonka was proud. Btw, an SF cabbie told me about an Afghani place on Broadway, close to Columbus. Said it was really good and the only Afghani restaurant in town. I imagine that it might be similar to Indian in some ways. Jestem glodny jak wilk!
Nah, Indian food...very flavourful with spices, lots of gravies, veggies, etc. Afghani food - dry, lots of rice, lots of mutton. And I don't like that yoghurt drink they have - doogh. Try the Indian version (lassi).
