    Ok, this is becoming a bit tedious...the folks at gokart racer say they are pretty booked up, and we need the majority of the group to be there at 7.00 (so we can be on the track by 7.30)! They had to stay open an extra 45 minutes for us last time, hence the "strictness"--what this means is, if you get there later, you may have to run heats back to back, or just get to run two heats for the same price.

    So, please get there early, check in with me and go change immediately so that we can have 10 people on the track by 7.30.

    Sorry about the back and forth nonsense, but it's not my track (yet). Heats are scheduled for every 20 minutes, ie. 7.30, 7.50, 8.10, 8.30, 8.50, 9.10. Only 10 people out on the track at one time.

    This is getting a bit complicated, so please do your part to help it go smoothly. On the bright side, the lights won't be off as we get done, and we could hang out for a bit after it's all over.

    ....is the guy with the ass trickle coming on Wed? Did I miss the story?
    Should I steal some of those toilet seat covers from work for my kart? I need to know.
    In any case, I actually bought gloves, so I hope to be signifacantly faster, provided I get placed on the grid somewhere other than last for the qaulifying session.

    I will be helping Faisal cordinate this time, If everyone could please check in with me (dorky looking guy in red Ferrari hat) when they arrive, that'd be fantastic.

    We are still at $70 (Faisal, want to buy GKR with me?) however I like this new pace much better than before.

    Faisal- Is Wilfred so nice he signed up twice?

    Wilfred and I did have a talk with one of the owners of GKR some time back. It cost several million to put together, and the buildout of the facility took 8 months.

    Just in case anyone was toying with the idea of giving them some competition.

    Hi Guys,

    You don't know me yet, I just got an '87 328 and schlepped it back to the Bay area last week. Anyhew I'm in for karting anytime, if someone cancels tomorrow I'll gladly take their place. I'm already registered at GKR, so in theory I could fill in with no notice whatsoever. I might even show up just to say hi. I'm @ 650-814-0037 if anyone needs to get a hold of me.

    Group 1 starts at 7.30 (You need to be there by 7pm)

    Sounds good to me. I was quite eager in anticipation of going karting that I told my wife "be ready by six, we have to be there by seven." To which she looked back at me and said, "it's Tuesday."

    "What?"

    "Karting's tomorrow."

    I stared blankly at her and realized I was wrong. Sigh. :)

    Faisal, will we be running the 1-1-2 track configuration again like last time? (Track 1, Track 1 then Track 2)

    Count me in, I'll go wherever you want me to. I've carted for a while, so if you want me in the faster group I'm fairly sure I won't embarrass myself. In any case I'll be there ready for the first group and we can go from there.
