    OK, another Daddy bragging moment:

Photo taken at Adams Kart track this weekend (So-cal sprinters race) by MLP imaging. My 6 y.o daughter in kart #01 (yep, the one with the skull and crossbones). I've been giving her lots of seat time lately, and she is getting faster and faster. Passed a bunch of other kids.

She loves karting, and wants to be a race car driver one day. Definately a daddy's girl.

Awesome!!! You should sign her up with teachings and tournaments if she is that interest. As you know, most Formula 1 drivers all started in Go Karting. It would be awesome if we had a Women Formula 1 Driver.

    Thanks guys.

The skull and crossbones were her idea. When I was getting the numbers printed up, the guy asked me if I wanted any logo on it as well. My daughter immediately replied back that she wanted the skull and crossbones (she loves Pirates). So I said sure, why not. Not very girly, but it looks pretty cool.

That's so awesome. I tried a couple of years ago to get my daughter into karting but she rather spend the time trying on dresses or buying make up. I told her before she's allowed to get a driviers license she'll have to do some more karting and auto x. She's turning 14 next week so I still have some time. You're lucky she loves the sport. I'm not giving up yet, I'd love to spend some more time on the track with my daughter.

Here's a pic of my daughter at Jim Hall Kart Racing School 2 years ago.

Very kewl. When I was karting, Chelsea had her little 50cc kart that she had a lot of fun with. She made a LOT of money, as Art use to join in at the tracks. He had to pay Chelsea a buck for every 'potty mouth' she busted him on! Fun times,as she enjoyed hanging out with Art, Rich, Dan and others.

It's a great sport for kids. When Pete had his carts, we had a good time. Haven't been doing much carting since then, but planning on doing a little more. A very good group.

That's awesome that you guys can share nice "car/karting" moments with your kids like that! When I start having kids of my own, I really hope they are car nuts like me to share common interests!

Yeah, lots of safety equipment. She has a helmet, neck support, chest protector, driving suit, gloves, etc. It's a good thing, it is a dangerous sport. I seen some pretty tough crashes, where the kids came out A-ok.

Ditto. It is dangerous. It does not happen very often, but a flipped kart can really get you hurt. I always worried while watchig Chelsea on the track, and she never drove that fast!
