I saw this and decided to mail order some real NYC pastrami. It was $38 per pound and I ordered 2 lbs. The ordering and receiving process was easy....here is how it looks outside the dry iced box:

All my markets around here just carry the low fat kind so it was nice to see one with more fat. Here it is on my expensive china:

It has more density and body than supermarket Pastrami....and more flavor. Pricey but worth it.

    I'll have what he's having! ;)

That is just killer. And, no mustard. You're a man after my own heart.

I love Katz! It is better there but shipping it is good. I do it about once a year. Try real jewish rye with outsides of bread grilled in a skillet with some butter. Keep the inside bread soft. Load up with meat, sliced kosher pickle, and mustard. Wow!

I like horseradish (either straight or in a sauce) on pastrami. I don't care for yellow mustard.

Tried to get some rye bread but the market was out. Agree that would be the best option.

Same. Fresh grated horseradish, sour cream, S&P. Let sit in fridge for flavors to marry.

    Enjoy your pastrami. Looks terrific...T

Just received a new package of these…..was surprised the price didn’t go up in the past year plus.
