    my wife and I are going to be in KC on a little R&R (only one kid in tow, now two) and I was wondering if y'all had anything planned.

    we'll most likely be staying at the Marriott on the plaza (or downtown at the phillips, depending on what rates I can conjure up).

    anyway... my wife needs a ride in a 360 or 550, so she can stop giving me so much crap about wanting one...

    any volunteers?

    That is the weekend before Crescent Classic so most will be getting ready for that, there is nothing on our calender for that weekend.

    someday I'd like to do that... maybe next year I'll bring down the 135i (first in line... woohoo!) and see how well I can keep up.

    we (BMWCCA local chapter) have a fall rally up in the Black Hills of South Dakota that is a little lower-class than the classic, but still a ton of fun.

    I'm sure we'll see a car or two down on the plaza anyway...

    I am in Wichita. I will let you know if I get to the plaza. The only problem is that I have a Lambo G. Maybe that will get her into it though. My wife wants a 360. I am sure your would love one too.

    Stay at the intercontinental. It costs around $50 more than most of the other hotels but is right on the plaza, right on brush creek and just all around worth the price difference. We do a lot of business with them.

    thanks for the heads up.

    all of our corporate is through Marriott and HO is in KC (read: lots of free upgrades :D), and on occasion we've stayed at the phillips on a slow weekend for something like $54/night... it was crazy.

    I'll check into it though, thanks!

    just made reservations at the IC for March 1-2. we'll see if they live up to your standards! ($126/night)
