    Is it worth attending?
    driving from Austin?

    thinking about taking my son.
he's been to Amelia Island last year.

    lots of cars?
    lots of exotics?

    just curious...
the website is a bit sparse for pics!

    thanks!

It's a very nice show Mike, at Lakewood Yacht Club, also includes vintage boats, and most years an entertaining auction.

Tends towards vintage over exotics maybe but well supported by our FCA group down here..

Then, go for a hamburger at Tookie's, and see the dock amusements on the Kemah Boardwalk, depending on his age.

Its a great show. Its in my small town called Seabrook, TX. I've been here since 1986.
The show gets better each year. It is in fact, more classics than exotics but your never know what will turn up there. You must get a burger at Tookies, that is a MUST and it is in walking distance since there will be traffic everywhere. I met Wayne Carini last year as he was judging and he sold 3 out of 4 of his cars at the auction. I had a family member buy 9 cars/trucks at the auction, good times. Half the time I stood in the back with Wayne drinking cold beer. It should be good times, it usually is.

    Bubba,

    Small correction.

Kids are allowed, but if he is bringing the Kiddos, no need to got to Gilhooleys in San Leon.
Kemah Boardwalk should be right for a family setting or Tookies.

It's a fantastic event and fun for the whole family, I haven't attended in several years and that's one thing I do miss about Houston.

Either day is fine, is there going to be an Auction associated with it this year!

That is the main "live entertainment" IMO.

The cars on display are the same both days, obviously.

You can get tickets online for $25 versus $35 at the gate.
    The boats are fantastic.
    the cars are amazing.
Here is a a pic of me and Keith Martin a couple of years back when he stopped by my 1970 Volvo P1800 and looked at it for an eternity and then he said....what a beautiful car...should have never sold mine.
