I just booked my hotel today. Who else is going this year? I've never been before but with Ferrari as the special marque for this year, I'm expecting it to be a great show.
May 5th & 6th at the Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook, TX. Saturday: The concours opens to the public at 10am and closes at 5pm. The auction starts at 11am. Sunday: Concours opens to the public at 9am and closes at 4pm. Presentation of awards at 1pm. http://www.keels-wheels.com/
I did a lot of the stuff in the WWG auction catalog... You can take home a Lusso, Dino, daytona spyder, 330 gtc, or a couple of other Ferrari's oh and the JFK Hearse... Just bring the penny jar
Awesome! This will be my first chance to see many of the classic models. I've never seen a Lusso or a Daytona Spyder.
Wish I was going, but the gf has me going on some damn cruise to the Caymans and ****. Sorry buddy, would be fun, take some good pics for me.
It's a really great event to attend, I went back in 2002 & 2003. So much automotive history to enjoy & by all mean be sure to check out the classic yachts.
I think they have both Sir Moss AND Carroll Shelby there, this year....should be fun! Mike we'll get together and hit some spots down there...TONS of fun nightlife and all those astronauts daughters are HOT waitresses.......
The Hill Country Chapter website is kind of dead. Nothing about it on there. Do you need anything special to get into the FCA corral? I've got my name tag.
I think you need to RSVP to the Houston chapter.....I have the business card at home I'll try to remember to post the info......

Have been the last two years for work, going this year to lend moral support my friend who is showing his Dino. Looking forward to seeing the various F-Cars go across the block. The sale was a little disappointing last year, but from the looks of things it might be better this year. I have it easy, though, my folks live about 5 minutes away in Seabrook, so no hotels for me! They're even picking us up at the airport!
