Just an idea for the model section: Let the 612 and 599 stay together, and move the F12 with the FF.

The FF and F12 are from the same generation.

Yes, makes sense. At the very least, move it out of the 599 section.

Agree that there is going to be a lot of activity relating to new car, making it harder for people to find current discussions relating to the 599 and 612.

Also by putting it in the ff section, it is most likely to share many components and owners which they can share findings, which may not be obvious to new users or rare problems.

    Just my 2cents.

we can do it, we just started in 599 because that's where all the successor talk was and frankly first look of new pics similar to 599, evolution like 308/328, 348/355, 360/430, and 550/575. maybe this is the first time Ferrari has revolutionized the design after just one iteration?

I said the same thing in another post, I don't think it is a bad idea on the FF/F12 though.

If I may, I believe that the correct cateforisation is the F12 paired with the 599 and the FF with the 612. The first category is the high performance V12 supercar and the second the big and comfy V12 GT section. On top of that the F12 is 599's successor and the FF, 612's.

    Thanks Rob.

I totally agree about them revolutionizing the 599 after one iteration. I suspect maybe that's why they gave the 599 such an amazing sendoff with the GTO version...

It has a new design (same design family as FF), a new engine (tweaked version of the one in FF if I am not mistaken) and a new gearbox (DSG, same as FF). This car, imho, has very little in common with the 599 and a lot in common with the FF.
